A beautiful wildflower spray and turquoise and gilt detail makes this design typical of the finest 18th Century design.
These candle-filled Porcelain Teacups and Saucers are produced in limited numbers in a porcelain factory in Germany, where the Meissen style has been revived and celebrated in this elegant china. Meissen was one of the great porcelain houses of the 18th Century. Individually sourced and beautifully hand-decorated by craftsmen, they are painted on bone china which gives a delicate glow when the candle inside is lit.

The cups are hand filled in England with fine quality scented wax, fragranced with Juliette’s signature Earl Grey Tea perfume, which blends bergamot with notes of green and black tea for a distinctive and fresh fragrance.

After the candle has burned (each will last about 25 hours depending on the size of the cup) the cup can be cleaned and reused. Drinking tea from a china cup is a delight which is now largely forgotten. These unusual and collectable cups and saucers are the best way to enjoy the pleasure of savouring the perfect cup or tea or coffee.
